A Study of Ship Trajectory Restoration Based on Vondrak Filtering and Cubic Spline Interpolation

摘要: 船舶航行轨迹是船舶的位置和时间的记录序列,对分析船舶的航行状态、水上交通事故预测等具有重要的意义.为了修正 AIS 数据传输中断等原因导致船舶位置、时间更新数据不正确,解决船舶轨迹的缺失问题开展了船舶轨迹修复的研究,设计了分布式船舶轨迹修复模型,运用 Vondrak 滤波对船舶航行轨迹进行平滑的预处理,再通过三次样条插值法分别对船舶经度、纬度信息进行修复,最后将经度、纬度信息合并得到修复后的船舶轨迹,并利用 Matlab 对修复方法的效果进行仿真验证.结果表明,其算法误差为6.01×10-5,能够准确地修复船舶轨迹.为基于船舶航行轨迹数据的相关研究提供相对准确的数据支持.

Abstract: Ship trajectories record the ship locations and times,which are significant for analyzing the navigation states and projecting maritime accidents.In order to correct the data errors of ship location and times due to AIS (auto-matic identification system)data transmission interruption and compensate the missing data of ship trajectories,this study proposed a ship trajectory restoration method.The study developed a distributive model of ship trajectories restora-tion by using Vondrak Filtering to smooth the navigation trajectories,and correcting the latitude and longitude informa-tion by using cubic spline interpolation,which formed the ship trajectories.The proposed restoration methods were veri-fied by Matlab under simulation.The results show that the algorithm error is 6.01×10 -5 and the proposed method can ac-curately restore ship trajectories.-
