Development of an Evaluation System of the Reliability of Travel Time of Freeways and the Thresholds of Corresponding Indicators

摘要: 行程时间可靠性是评价道路运行效率的重要指标,同时也是评价高速公路服务水平的重要指标。为了向高速公路管理者和使用者提供更加准确的行程时间信息,提高高速公路的服务水平及使用效率,在已有研究的基础上,建立了高速公路行程时间可靠性评价体系,并采取向高速公路使用者问卷调查的方式对高速公路行程时间可靠性阈值进行研究,通过对数据进行分析,结合佛罗里达算法,提出了新的高速公路可靠性指标阈值的计算方法。

Abstract: The reliability of travel time is an important indicator for evaluating the efficiency as well as the level of service of freeways .After the previous studies are reviewed ,an evaluation system of the reliability of travel time of free-way is developed to provide more accurate travel time information for managers and users of freeways .Questionnaires to sample users of freeways are collected to determine the thresholds of corresponding indicators .Finally ,a new method for determining the thresholds of the evaluation indicators is developed based on the Florida Algorithms .
